Shipping policy

At Weldwork, it is our mission to provide superior quality and service to all customers. We ask that all customers please review the following shipping policies prior to placing an order


Truck Deliveries

Weldwork delivers local orders within Southeast Michigan with our own licensed and insured drivers. All other shipments are scheduled through common carrier. Shipping fees will be determined based on shipment size, weight, and destination. Shipping fees can be quoted at the customer’s request at the time of order. We will always send shipments utilizing the carrier with the best rate and quickest delivery time. Shipping and delivery fees are the responsibility of the customer. This includes any additional fees associated with rescheduling shipments. Weldwork will schedule all shipment and deliveries and will provide customers with pictures of the pallet as well as the tracking information immediately upon carrier pick up. All products are shipped in a secure system designed specifically to protect and safeguard your products.


Local Deliveries

Weldwork delivers local orders within Southeast Michigan. Local orders may include installation for an additional fee. Please speak directly to a Weldwork team member for a quote on a local installation.


Non-Local Deliveries

All residential shipments will be delivered via lift-gate, curbside. It is the customer's sole responsibility to arrange to disassemble the crate and move the product to the desired area. Please remember that this is a physical job which will require more than one person.


Business / Commercial Deliveries

Business/commercial deliveries will be delivered to a loading dock if available, or curbside. If curbside delivery is required, a fork lift will be necessary and must be provided by the customer. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to unpack, set up, and move all products once they are delivered.


Standard delivery hours are from 8 am to 5 pm local time. For non-local deliveries, a transfer time of three to nine business days can be expected depending on the location. Weldwork LLC delivers to all residential and commercial addresses within the contiguous United States. Changes to the delivery date or destination must be made in writing within two hours of order placement.


Please note that the customer is not expected to pay any amount to the delivery company or staff at any time. Weldwork LLC will make all payments directly to the vendors used. Any amount that the customer chooses to pay the carrier or its representatives is the responsibility of the customer and at their full discretion. Weldwork is not responsible for any payments made by the customer to vendors other than Weldwork LLC and will not refund any such payments.


Processing Times

Weldwork LLC processes and ships orders regularly Monday through Friday unless otherwise noted. All products are locally made and shipped from Royal Oak, Michigan. Prior to shipment, orders are thoroughly inspected and reviewed by the Weldwork team. Credit card processing takes one to three business days, which will be added to order time. On some occasions, voice confirmation is required for credit card payments. Order status can be checked at any time through phone or E-mail contact with a Weldwork representative.


Inspection and Claims

All products are fully inspected and packaged by the Weldwork team prior to shipment. All necessary precautions are taken to ensure safe delivery. Weldwork LLC is not responsible for damage that occurs during or after product delivery.


The customer should visibly inspect the pallet for damages prior to accepting the shipment. Under NMFC rules, the customer may not open and/or inspect the contents of the pallet before signing and accepting the shipment. If there is significant visible damage to the pallet and the customer suspects major damage to the shipment, DO NOT open the pallet and instead refuse the shipment. Upon refusal of shipment, take pictures of the damaged pallet and contact Weldwork LLC immediately to make an official report. Please note it may take several days or weeks to resolve the claim. Please note all damage to the pallet in writing at the time of delivery with the carrier.


If you discover product damages after accepting and opening the package, please contact Weldwork LLC as soon as possible so that we can file a claim with the carrier and provide you the information regarding that claim. Please refrain from installing the product and retain the original packaging until the claim is resolved as the carrier may chose to conduct an inspection. Product use or installation designates customer's acceptance after which no additional claim can be made.


*IMPORTANT: If damage to a shipment is not reported immediately, it will be considered an unrewarded claim and Weldwork LLC will not be responsible for resolution. 


Shipping Disclaimers

Weldwork LLC does not assume any responsibility or liability for product damages and/or any personal injury or other issue resulting from the delivery process. Weldwork LLC does not assume any responsibility or liability for any damages outside of what is noted on the carrier’s receipt.


The customer will be responsible for paying the full purchase price for the order and any additional delivery charges from the carrier if the delivery address is not accessible for delivery. WELDWORK LLC DOES NOT ADVISE ANY CUSTOMER TO RETRIEVE ORDERS DIRECTLY FROM THE CARRIER TERMINAL OR OTHER LOCATION OUTSIDE OF THE GIVEN DELIVERY ADDRESS.
